Category:Video games scored by David WiseFor the first time, a journalist from “The Washington Post” has made the list of the most influential journalists in the world, according to a new report by PR Week.
“The Washington Post” writer Anne Applebaum made the list. “The Wall Street Journal” writer Michael M. Grynbaum, also a “Washington Post” columnist, and “The New York Times” writer Mike Thompson were also on the list.
President Trump took to Twitter to blast Applebaum and others who were named, calling the list “phony” and “very dishonest.”
The Fake News Media is working overtime in favor of Crooked Hillary. Unfortunately, the same thing is happening in respect to soooo many others, including the LATEST RECORD BREAKER @foxandfriends. The story that bore the Trump/Pence coat of arms was on-line for 6 months. They all do it, including the Failing @nytimes. Use for free media credit card! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 26, 2019
Others at the “Washington Post” also took note of Applebaum’s accolade.
Like it or not, Applebaum has spent years in the public sphere–enough time to garner a little respect. — Dan Zak (@MrZak) May 26, 2019
This month, the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) will honor Applebaum with the WHCA’s Stephen Voss Manley Award for Journalistic Excellence.
Editor’s Note: This article has been updated with additional information from Applebaum’s Twitter account.
